11/24付けJTの一面に、

"G-7 meet already reaps return for Ise-Shima" という記事がありました。

G-7が行われる予定の三重県志摩市周辺では、すでにその恩恵を受け始めているようです。

記事で気になった表現では、

The Ise-Shima region is just a stone's throw from major tourist destinations such as Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara.

stone's throwで、「石を投げて届く距離、近距離」という意味だそうです。

日本語だと「ほんの目と鼻の距離」あたりの表現が近いでしょうか。
